When you think of going to the beach in December, the shores of Lake Michigan are probably not the first thing that comes to mind. But that doesn't make the sugary white sands and shimmering turquoise waters at Indiana Dunes any less beautiful. Constantly moving in the wind to the tune of about 4 feet per year, the dunes swallow everything in their path, from signs to trees to even buildings. And can you spot the Chicago skyline in the distance?
