I captured the birth of what would become the Little Axe/Shawnee tornado right from my house on the east side of town. A very large wall cloud/funnel passed right over my house (you could look up into the spinning vortex) and briefly experienced winds from the tornadic circulation as a tornado briefly touched down about a mile east of the house. This tornado would grow into an EF-4 before devastating parts of Little Axe and Shawnee. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the storms that day.
