Make the short, but steep hike to the summit of Mont Saint Alban for a breathtaking lookout at Le Bout du Monde (the End of the World), the rugged spit of land that gave the Gaspé Peninsula its name. Derived from the Micmac word "Gaspeg", which means "End of Land", the French simply dropped the "g"off the end to give it its current name: Gaspé. After seeing the park, it's no wonder why Forillon National Park is one of the most underrated parks in all of Canada.
