Transit of Venus Viewing Becomes a Storm Chase

My attempt at a Transit of Venus viewing turned into a most elegant failure, as the clouds rolled in right as the transit was starting at 5:00. I kept watching the clouds get darker and darker, so I canned the transit idea, got my camera, and headed out to chase. As I went to get in the car, there was a ragged, but still pretty nice looking roll cloud draped across south Norman. The summertime season of "down the street" chases has officially started.
