Tornadoes Break Out Across Southwestern Oklahoma
Frederick, Oklahoma, United States
17 April, 2013
Gorgeous supercells broke out across southwestern Oklahoma, producing several tornadoes before tracking right up Interstate 44 towards the OKC metro. I was out chasing with a radar group from one of my classes before breaking off to try and beat the storms home. It was a pretty eerie sight coming back into Norman at about the same time the storms were arriving, but the storms thankfully only brought some gusty winds and small hail to Norman.
