Thanksgiving Mini Ice Storm
Norman, Oklahoma, United States
23 November, 2013
An early-season winter storm descended on the southern plains. The first round of winter weather came through as a freezing rain/ice event, followed by a snow and sleet event a couple days later. The Norman area received some of the greatest ice accumulations from the freezing rain (about 1/4 inch), while the winners for snowfall were in southwest Oklahoma, where close to a foot of snow fell.
