Eating a frankfurter takes on a much different meaning here in Germany. You can technically define a frankfurter as any food that's local to the Frankfurt area. In this challenge, we're gonna stretch that definition beyond sausages, to an iconic German delicacy. The frankfurter schnitzel is a beloved Frankfurt classic, consisting of a pork patty pounded thin, season with local flavors, breaded and fried to perfection, with a side of potatoes. It's served with Frankfurt's signature grüne sauße, or green sauce - a creamy local delicacy made from seven fresh herbs. Balancing the seasoned meat with the fresh herbs gives it that iconic Frankfurt flavor that is truly a delight for the tastebuds.
